It was always quite hard adjusting the first week. She had been at the academy a few days now, and still it felt so awkward and distant to her. She still hadn't unpacked, she was still floating through time as if in some sort of trans. It always got to her, these first few weeks; she'd always think about how it would have been if Mathieu was there beside her. It wouldn't be so hard, she'd get through it easily. Yes, she was slowly adjusting to the fact that a part of her went missing more than two years ago, but still it was painful. It didn't matter that she was in this beautifuly decorated room that screamed of wealth and snobbery. She couldn't care less about it. The fluffy pillows, the golden drapes, they did nothing for her – she could sleep on the floor, it would have been the same. With a short sigh she got up from the sofa, making a few steps towards the window, pressing onto the handle to open it so that a breeze of cool air could reach her. She could see a couple of her peers outside in the park, enjoying these last few days of summer. She didn't want company, it still felt as if an invisible hand was choking her around the neck. She was much rather by herself. She somehow felt safer that way.
He knew she had seen him. And he knew she had been avoiding him since her arrival here. He was has been trying to find her all over the school, but have failed. Finally, he has decided. He has to find her. They still have some unfinished business to close. He took a shower and went out. He was trying to find her everywhere but one place: her room. Fuck! He had no idea how is he going to do that. He could sneak in or something like that, but that was so not his style. He asked four girls where was here room when finally he found out where she had her place. He went there right away. The girls in the house were watching him surprise, but he didn't care much, he just wanted her. Em slowly opened her door and with even bigger smile wrote on the wall with his fire: I know what you did, pute. You can't escape it. "It's my pleasure to see you again, Ninon."
