she was indeed a child of nature: the way she was smiling upon the reddish leaves in the autumn and smelled the flowers of spring. even though the academy was the best place she was staying in since the fire, its grey walls and the fence around it were caging her more that anything. it was the feeling that none could understand, to feel so trapped amongst one's freedom. but the anxiety was growing inside of her with every second she spent away from the nature she so dearly loved. it wouldn't necessarily be a problem: her, running away in the middle of the night. she was a nobody. she was insignificant for the world - well, for the most of it. there was one person who had a problem with her little escapes. it would be more that exadurated to say that the bearded guardian cared about the girl with fire in her hair. more likely, they were like little red riding hood and a big bad wolf, but that didn't matter to her. she never wanted to be alone and the fact that his job demanded for him to always follow her didn't really bother addison. she knew he was behind her when she was running through the woods once again. but he was invisible, she didn't even hear a twig brake under his feet. but she knew he was there, silent, but ready. she could feel his presence, his negativity and irritation. but that really didn't bother her, because hell, she was surrounded by leaves and flowers and grass. she took a deep breath: it really felt like home. just moments later, she turned around and said loudly, wanting for him to hear her words. "can i touch it, please?" a grin resting on her lips.
