| the waist clock was ticking the time passing by as her eyes were swallowing every word in the book in her hands. it was past midnight now and she was sitting on the tree branch in the middle of the park, getting ready to finally head back to the academy, as she finally closed the book and for a moment or two stared at the hard back page of it. it’s been a long while since she got her hands on something this amazing, and she had to admit all the credits were given to addie, who suggested her this book a few days ago hanging around in the library. she swung her hand around the air towards the floors to make a bench bend over, jumping down on the small path leading directly into the castle of stone. if anyone would’ve seen her at this time, she’d be in trouble, and as much as she was sure nobody will hang around here, she was wrong as in the next few step towards the academy she could hear a guy laughing. and another one. and one more, until it became clear to her, it was all a provoke. words became to formate herself the closer she got, the bright moon on the clear skies was lighting up the place just a few feet away from the academy’s entrance. there she could’ve seen them: three boys standing around a frightened one pressed on the huge grey pillar behind him. he had nowhere to escape. others were laughing, and there fifth one standing in the short distance from them, with a smirk on his face. if there’d be things on the world that made her blood boil up above her head, it would be bullies and reckless as she was, it took her no time to speed up her steps with loud words saying “what the hell are you guys doing!” she was there in almost no time, with absolute no pre thought that just maybe slapping a guy, perhaps way older than her with a huge book in her hands, might not be such a good idea. fortunately he whined in pain, her eyes flashing from other one to another “you all are a bunch of cowards.” her voice shook a little bit, but there was enough power to sense in them as her eyse met the guy in the distance “and what about you? perfect leader cannot dirty his hands so he lets others do work for him?” she was mad and when she was mad, she didn’t think: not as if it wasn’t too late for some deep thinking right now.
